Love the new site. Great chickens and great flowers. I love the girls you sent, the brown red is sooo sweet I love her she is my baby. We almost had a big scare with the older mottled hen. We got invested with mites and lost two of our other hens. We almost lost the mottled, but we discovered the use of red cell on chickens just in time and she is getting better by the minute! She is a fighter, a testament on how hardy your birds are! Hopefully we will bring our family out in the fall to see that show you talked about and pick up a couple of hens and maybe a roo. Be in touch, thank you for such wonderful birds!

Jamie , you have a great site , and I also love bantam Cochins . I have a bantam cochin rooster, and I'm not sure which breed he is?? Jamie I think he may be a Mille fleur , but I'm not sure . I bought him from a woman , who had many breeds of Cochins , he was pure white as a chick, I know that doesn't help, but now his feathers are a lot darker . Calico is not a breed , I don't think , is there anyway I can get a picture to you, I hope you can tell me more about him thank you

Hello Jamie, I enjoyed looking at your site and reading your Storey. Thirty six years ago my wife and I were given chickens for a wedding gift by a favorite Uncle. Chickens have always been a pleasure for us to raise. We have been raising Cochins for three years now and really love the breed. We hope to improve our flock by introducing some of your quality birds. Please give me a call when you have time. Thank You, Gary Massie 940 389-2277

Your Cochins are beautiful. They along with Silkies are the most loving and huggable breeds of chickens. I have both Frizzles and smooth Cochins. They are all named and are pets.
